jamun news: Chum Chum - Prepare this chum chum for special dinner dessert to amaze yourself and everyone. Prepare a day before and put in the fridge so that sugar syrup could absorbe well. Great to make one bite balls.
Milk 2 kg
Sugar 1/2 kg
Self-raising flour 1 tbsp
Baking powder 1 tsp
Soap nuts 5
Citric acid power 1 tbsp
Almonds pistachios chopped 1/2 cup
Kewra essence few drops
Pink Color a pinch
1.Break the soap nuts and remove the seeds.
2.Boil the shell in water until it turns soft.
In a saucepan heat, the water along with the sugar until thick golden strands are formed.
5.Pour the milk into a saucepan.
6.Heat on a low flame.
7.Now add the citric acid powder to curdle the milk.
8.Remove the cheese that has been formed.
9.Add baking powder, cornflour, and self-raising flour.
10.Mix the contents with your hand then beat together until all the ingredients have been thoroughly mixed.
11.Divide the mixture into two halves.
12.Add pink colour to one set and shape the mixture into oval balls.
13.Add the chum chum to the sugar syrup along with the soap nut water and kewra.
14.Cook the mixture on a low flame.
15.Until the chum chum float on top.
16.Dish out and serve.
