jamuna news: Fish Cutlet is a typical Bengali style of cooking and is served as a snack to the guests or on special occasions. Enjoy this recipe as an afternoon snack with fries which would be liked by your kids as well.
Fish mince ½ kg
Salt to taste
pepper 1 tsp
Ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp
Chopped onion 1
Chopped green chilies 3
White flour ½ cup
Breadcrumb 1 cup
Oil ½ liter
Potatoes ½ kg (cut in finger shape)
Take fish mince, blanch it, and let it cool down.
Mix salt, pepper, ginger & garlic paste, chopped onion, finely chopped green chilies, mix together all ingredients.
Shape cutlet out of it.
Prepare a batter with white flour, a pinch of salt, egg & water as needed, make a smooth paste.
Dip the cutlet into the batter one by one, then fold into the bread crumb.
Take wok, heat oil on medium flame.
Put the cutlet into hot oil to fry one by one, let it fry till it becomes golden brown color.
Serve cutlets with French fries.
