jamuna political news: Ruhul Kabir Rizvi the joint secretary general of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) on Wednesday said, “the abrupt anti-Indian statements made by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina are mysterious.”
Rizvi said, “She (PM Sheikh Hasina) said Indian RAW (Research and Analysis Wing) and the United States had put BNP in power in 2001.”
“Such statements of PM Sheikh Hasina are mysterious and it is a part of a fixed match,” he said.
“The prime minister’s sudden anti-RAW stance is a part of a joke and people have no doubt over it,” the BNP senior leader added.
Rizvi said, “Indicating RAW, the central intelligence agency of a neighbouring country, which is also the source of the Awami League government’s power, is working to keep the government in power.”
“Inking any military deal with India will be suicidal and against the independence. There will be no independence and sovereignty in the country if Bangladesh’s security is dependent on India and our defence policy is taken as per India’s wish,” he said.
“People in Bangladesh will never accept such anti-state defence deals, rather, they will come forward to resist such deals,” Rizvi demand.
“She (the prime minister) made the speeches to influence the voters of Comilla City Corporation,’ he added. The election of Comilla City Corporation is scheduled to be held on March 30.
